Naples (FL) Daily News – Mad Hops Changing Beer One Drop At A Time
Millennials, this one’s for you. A startup wants to give Budweiser and other economy brews a more interesting taste, one drop at a time. The drops are bottled and packaged in East Naples, Florida. Manufacturing for Mad Hops Flavored Brew Drops began in September at Alternative Labs with an initial run of 5,000 bottles. Another run will start soon. This time it will produce 35,000 bottles.
Alternative Labs’ CEO Kevin Thomas is a big believer. “It’s one of the top three unique-to-market trendsetting products I’ve seen,” Thomas said. “It creates demand for a category that has no players.”
